Sugar Free Whole Wheat Waffles

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour1 tablespoon (3 teaspoons) baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt6 teaspoons (6 packets) Splenda2 cups milk (I used soy milk but you can use any kind of milk)2 large eggs (substitute egg whites if you wish)6 tablespoons canola oil1 teaspoon vanilla (or almond) extract.
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix until well blended and smooth. Let batter sit 5 minutes before using. Preheat your waffle maker per instructions. Pour a scant 1/2 cup batter onto the center of the lower grid; spread evenly, cook according to the instructions on your waffle maker.
