Homemade Whole Wheat Waffle

Ingredients
1 1/2 c. whole grain flour1 c. nonfat milk1 1/2 tsp. baking powder2 eggs, separated1/3 c. unsweetened applesauce1/2 tsp. salt1 Tbl. sugar
Directions
Mix wet ingredients. Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet and dry together. Mix egg whites until fluffy then fold into mixture. Cook in waffle iron. Makes 2.5 - 4 square waffles.
