White Bean Mash

Ingredients
1 Teaspoon extra virgin olive oil1 large onion, finely chopped3 garlic cloves, minced16 oz chickpeas1/2 cup water1/4 teaspoon salt2 tsp. olive oil
Directions
heat 1 tsp oil over medium heat. Add onion garlic; cook stirring frequently until softened. Add beans, salt, broth, bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and mash to a coarse puree. Add pepper to taste.

taking 1/2 cup form 4 patties. In a large skillet heat 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add Patties and cook until heated through, about 4 min. per side.
