Nicole's Pesto

Ingredients
3 Cups Basil (whole leaves)1 1/2 Cups Walnuts (shelled)4 Cloves Garlic (peeled)1/4 Cup Grated Parm Cheese1 Cup Olive Oilsalt and pepper to taste (not included in nutrition)
Directions
Food Processor: Combine all ingredients and pulse until blended together.

By Hand: Finely chop basil. Chop walnuts until almost powder. Crush garlic. Add all ingredients together.

To store, place pesto in any container and cover with a thin layer of olive oil to retain color. Pesto will stay fresh in fridge for about a week-2 weeks.

To freeze, spoon pesto into ice cube trays in 2 TBSP servings. Freeze and then place in freezer bag. Replace pesto used from jar in fridge with frozen pesto as desired.
