Biscuits and Gravy

Ingredients
1 lb sausage1/3 cup flour 3 cups milk1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 pkg refrigerated biscuit dough
Directions
Bake biscuits according to package directions.

Brown sausage in large skillet. Use a slotted spoon to lift out the sausage and drain on a plate with a paper towel.

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour onto the sausage grease and use a whisk until bubbly, keeping the temp. at med.-high. You can add more or less flour, depending on how much grease you have in your pan.

Begin to add milk, about 1 cup at a time. Add in more flour as you are adding milk. Keep whisking to prevent lumps.

Add sausage and let gravy simmer until it thickens to desired consistency.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Makes 5 servings.
