Quick and Easy Black Beans and Rice

Ingredients
Ingredients:Bush's seasond black beans (3 servings per can), 6 serving *Aidell's Cajun Style Andouille Sausage (1 sausage), 4 serving White Rice, long grain, 1.25 cup *Canola Oil, 2 tbsp Garlic, 4 clove Onions, raw, 1 cup, choppedChicken Broth, 1 can (10.75 oz)
Directions
1. chop onion and garlic and saute until softened in canola oil in medium pan.
2. add rice and saute until lightly colored
3. Pour chicken broth into liquid measure cup and add enough water to make 2.5 cups, add to rice (can also add about 1 tsp of thyme if desired) and simmer until rice has absorbed liquid ~15 minutes.
4. slice or dice sausage and saute until lightly browned, add beans and heat through. May want to add a little crushed red pepper to taste.
Serve bean and sausage mixture over rice.
