Whole Wheat Sub Rolls

Ingredients
1 1/4 cup water1 tsp salt2 tsp sugar2 3/4 cups King Arthur white flour3/4 cup King Arthur whole wheat flour2 - 2 1/4 tsp yeast (1 packet)Glaze:1 Tbsp corn meal1 Tbsp cannola oil1 beaten egg white1 Tbsp water
Directions
Place first 5 ingredients in bread maker in order in which they are listed.
Select "Dough" cycle and start bread maker.
When cycle is complete, remove dough to a lightly floured surface. If necessary knead in enough flour to make dough easy to handle.
Divide into 8 sections. Roll each section into a 6" long roll.
Placed on a greased baking sheet, lightly brush with oil, cover and let rise in a warm place about 30 minutes.
Brush with egg white and water. Sprinkle with corn meal.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Brush with additional egg white mixture and bake another 5 minutes.

    The flavor was good, but my 8 was really small. I think this should make 4. But it could be because I used 2 3/4 c whole wheat and 3/4 c all-purpose flour. - 1/10/11
