Ingredients:Turkey, Ground, Italian Seasoned, Jennie-O, 20 oz Onions, raw, 1.5 cup, choppedGarlic, 4 clovesTomatoes, Diced, Italian Style, Safeway, 1.75 cup Water, tap, 1.50 cup (8 fl oz) Tomatoes, Sauce, Safeway, 1 cup Parsley, dried, 1 tbsp Basil, 1 tbsp Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp Pasta, Lasagna, Whole Wheat. Healthy Harvest, 20 oz Cottage Cheese, Fat Free, Lucerne, 1 cupParmesan Cheese, Grated, Great Value, 4 tbsp Pepper, black, 1 tbsp Egg, Whites, Best of Egg Whites, Lucerne, 0.50 cup
Directions
1) In a large skillet, over medium heat cook ground turkey with onions and garlic.
2) Add: Tomatoes, water, tomato sauce, parsley, basil, & oregano.
3) Stir in broken up uncooked pasta.
4) Cover and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
5) Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta is tender.
6) Combine Cottage and Parmesan cheeses.
7) Mix in the egg whites.
8) Sprinkle in basil and black pepper to taste.
9) Drop cheese mixture by rounded tbsps into mixture.
10) Cover and cook for 5 minutes more.
