1/4 + 1/8 cup whole wheat flour1/4 + 1/8 cup rolled oats3/4 cup buttermilk, skim milk, soy milk...your choice1 egg white1 teaspoon cinnamon1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon nutmeg1/2 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon brown sugar2 tablespoons oil or applesauce
Soak oats in 1/4 + 1/8 cups of the milk for 15 minutes before combining with the remaining milk and the rest of the ingredients. Stir well. Heat a skillet over medium after spraying with cooking spray. Spoon mix onto skillet and heat until edges turn brown. Flip. Add desired mix ins to each pancake such as chocolate chips, blueberries, or banana. Serve and enjoy!
