Stepf's Whole-Grain Fruit Crisp

2 cups berries or other fruit1/4 cup raw sugar, divided 1 T lemon juice 1 cup old-fashioned oats 1/4 cup whole-wheat flour 2 T heart-healthy margarine 2 T ground flaxseed 1/4 t cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Coat a 9"x9" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Add the berries to the dish, sprinkle on the lemon juice and half of the sugar.
Combine the dry ingredients in a small bowl. Add the margarine, and use a fork or a pastry cutter to blend the margarine into the ingredients. Once the margarine is well incorporated, spread the topping evenly over the fruit.
Bake, uncovered, until the topping is crispy and slightly browned and the fruit is bubbling, about 30 minutes.
