Laura's Homemade Applesauce

Ingredients
8 medium apples, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar
Directions
Peel and dice apples and place in stock pot. Add sugar, spices, and water. Spices and sugar can be to taste! Play around and add what tastes great. You may use up to 1/2 cup water, but start with 1/4 cup and see consistency.

SImmer all ingredients, covered, for 30-40 minutes or until very tender. With potato masher, mash mixture until it is your desired consistency (I like a bit chunky). Serve warm or cold. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
