Potluck Meatballs (Full Fat Version)

MEATBALLS3 lbs. Hamburger1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk1 teaspoon salt2 cups oatmeal2 eggs1 cup chopped onion1/2 tsp. garlic powder2 tsp. chili powder1/2 tsp. black pepperTOPPING3 cups ketchup2 tablespoons liquid smoke1/2 cup chopped onion1 cup packed brown sugar1/2 tsp garlic powder
MEATBALLS:
Mix well with hands. Make into balls. Place in a 9 x 13 pan.
TOPPING:
Mix and spoon over the meatballs. Bake for 45 mins at 350 degrees.
Makes about 24 depending on the size of your meatballs, but for the nutrition info I divided it into 24 pieces.

Quick, easy, and delicious. People at the potluck started asking who brought the meatballs so they could learn the recipe. Our potluck dish was too small for the entire batch, so a smaller dish of seven meatballs is ready to serve at home tonight! - 12/6/11

That's great! I'm glad they enjoyed them. They're a HUGE hit with my 2 yr old. We're having them tonight and you can always freeze the leftovers for another meal later!
