Lean Protein-Cereal Bars

Ingredients
2 cups puffed wheat cereal1/3 cup ground almonds or walnuts2 TBSP ground flaxseeds1 cup vanilla whey protein powder1/3 cup dried fruit (I use cherries)2 TBSP cinnamon1/3 cup of pure maple syrup1 TBSP coconut oil1 tsp vanilla extract2 TBSP natural peanut butter
Directions
Makes 8 servings if made in an 8X8 pan; makes 15 thinner servings if made in a 13X9 pan.

In bowl, combine dry ingredients. Set aside

In pot, combine syrup and coconut oil. Heat to a simmer. Add vanilla extract and peanut butter and remove from heat. Stir to blend.

Add liquid mixture to cereal mixture and mix with spoon.

Press evenly into oiled pan. let cool in freezer until solid. Cut into squares. Wrap individually and keep frozen until eaten
