Stepf's Raw Granola Bars

Ingredients
2 c oats1 c oat bran4 T chia seeds4 T ground flax seeds1/4 c maple syrup1/4 c coconut oil1/4 c almond butter1/2 c unsweetened coconut1/2 c raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
Directions
Mix wet ingredients in a large bowl, then add dry ingredients. Spread in a 8x13" baking dish and press firmly. Refrigerate or freeze and slice. Makes 16 servings!

    The taste is great, very filling... but I didn't manage to make them stick enough so they crumble. I put them in the freezer, I'll see tomorrow if it's better.
    Update: it' a little better in the freezer but still crumbling a lot. Goes great in yogourt though! - 2/21/12

    want to know what pepitas and chia seeds are and where I can get them--sounds like a great recipe, and I can substitute for those items, but would like to try them with them!

    What do you mean? They are included with the dry ingredients and therefore mixed in with the oats, etc.
