Ingredients
2 c. Whole Wheat Flour2 c. flour3 c. natural bran2 tsp b powder2 tsp b soda2 tsp cinnamon1 tsp salt.5 tsp nutmeg1 c. packed b sugar.75 c margarine3 eggs14 oz unsweetened applesauce1.5 c low fat buttermilk.5 molasses1 c raisins1 apple chopped
Directions
Mix all dry. Mix all wet. Combine, do not overmix. Fold in apples and raisins. Makes 30 large muffins.

    I would like to make this but I am not sure how much molassas to put in. Is it .5 TBSP? .5 cup? I will try it with 1/2 TBSP and see what happens. Cook at 350? How long? I will try it and see. - 6/23/10

    I thought this was a good recipe. I got away with using only one egg (all I had) and no molasses because I didn't have any. I added an extra apple and they are very good with a bit of cream cheese. I froze some for mornings I am in a hurry or want something sweet ... - 12/9/09
