Baked Ham
- Number of Servings: 18
Ingredients
Directions
7 lbs fully-cooked whole bone-in ham1/2 lb brown sugar1/4 cup honey dijon mustard
In a medium size mixing bowl, mix mustard and brown sugar until you have a thick paste. Take all wrappers off of ham and trim away excess fat. Score the top of the ham (only about 1/4 inch deep and about an inch apart) to hold the glaze in place while the ham is baking. Line baking pan (spray with Pam in case some of the brown sugar mixture escapes, clean up is easier) with aluminum foil.
Place ham on foil and spread brown sugar/mustard paste on top. Fold and seal foil. A cooking bag could also be used. Do not open again until ham is done. Bake at 350° for about 2 hours (20 minutes per pound). Let rest for about 20 minutes, then carve.
Makes 18 servings.
