Whole Wheat Blueberry Waffles

Ingredients
2 eggs, separated1 1/2 cups nonfat milk1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) melted butter1 cup sifted all-purpose flour1 cup whole wheat flour2 teaspoons baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1 tablespoon sugar2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed
Directions
In a small mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff and set aside. Beat egg yolks; add milk and melted butter. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add egg yolk mixture and mix until smooth. Fold in blueberries. Gently fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in a hot waffle iron. Makes about 12 - 7 inch round waffles or 6 large square waffles.
