Woman's Day Corn Fritters

Ingredients
1 6.5-ounce pouch cornbread mix1 1/2 cups corn1/2 cup 1% milk1 large egg
Directions
Mix all ingredients. Let batter sit for 5 minutes, then drop onto heated griddle sprayed with cooking spray by 2-Tablespoon measuring cup.

Drizzle with maple syrup or honey, if desired. (But they taste great plain, too.)

Makes 6 2 1/2-fritter servings.
