We do like waffles but prefer the small "pegged" versus the belgian openings. The waffle gets more soggy but with fresh fruits that helps. Haven't tried this recipe yet. - 10/16/17

Very good! My first one did stick pretty badly but just using a bit of spray on the iron fixed that up. I thought it had just the right amount of sweet. So happy to find this recipe. - 11/16/12

Not as sweet as I would expect with Belgian style waffles. Also tended to stick more than other recipes I have used. Overall definitely edible! - 4/21/11

My kids and I love these! Today I didn't have the oil, so I substituted 2 tbsp. of applesauce and they still turned out great! I've even left the egg yolks (not whites out) on accident and they were great! - 1/29/11

Very light and airy...only needed light syrup! I used almond milk...and I was worried it would stick or not work...but was great! I ended up with 10 Belgian waffles! - 1/9/11

Great recipe! I used 1 cup of batter to make 6 waffles, which alters the NI a bit, but still very calorie friendly. Very Filling. - 9/16/09

Great waffles! Light and airy...the whole family liked them. I plan on freezing the extras and will see how well they reheat during the week. Thanks for sharing! - 4/26/08

this was my first attempt at making waffles. I messed up on the first one by not letting it cooked long enough. Once I got the hang of it...it was fun. My whole family loved these. I topped it with whipped cream, syrup and fruit...not the most diet friendly...but they were great. - 2/23/08
