sun dried tomato chicken sausage pasta with asparagus

* *365 Organic Whole Wheat Penne Pasta, 3 cup (1 box) * *chicken sausage w/ sun dried tomato, about 1.5 pounds from Whole Foods Meat Counter * Asparagus, fresh, 2 cup chopped in 1/4's * *bacon, uncured, 40% less fat, Wellshire, 8 slices broiled (fat drippings reserved) * Black Olives, 10 jumbo
1. cook pasta and bacon according to package directions.
2 .Chop the Bacon in to small pieces. Reserve 2 Tbsp of the bacon drippings for sauteing the chicken sausage and asparagus.
3 Cut asparagus into 1/4's and toss with 2tsp. of Bacon drippings then Roast Asparagus in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
4. seed the black olives and slice in halves or quarters.
5. Roll the chicken sausage into walnut sized balls and saute in remaining reserved bacon drippings over medium heat, for 5 minutes or until cooked through.
6. Toss all the ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
7. DE-glaze the pan from cooking the chicken sausage (meat balls) with a couple table spoons of water and pour over the pasta and toss again to coat.
