Ground Sirloin, 1 lb.Mushrooms, 1 cup, I prefer portabello.Onions, about half a cup.Garlic, 4 cloves, chopped very finely.Oats, half a cup, old fashioned style.Egg, 1 large.Mrs. Dash, about 1 teaspoon to your taste.
I run the oats and the veggies through my mini food processor to make sure they are very finely chopped and unrecognizable to children! Mix all ingredients very well with your clean hands, make 5 patties and fry or grill until well done. Serve on buns with an assortment of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and mustard. Makes 5 good sized burgers, more filling than a quarter pound burger.
