Crock Pot Apple Treat

Ingredients
6 Granny smith apples1/2 Granulated Sugar 1/2 Brown Sugar unpacked 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground1 tsp Cinnamon, ground 2 TBS All purpose flour 1/2 lemon yields 6 TBS of Country Crock light butter spread
Directions
1. Peel & core apples. Cut them into 8th's.
2. Put apples in crock pot
3. Squeeze lemon onto apples
4. Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour in a separate bowl.
5. Sprinkle mixture over apples.
6. Melt butter spread & pour on apples & mixture.
7. Cook in crock pot for 2 hrs on HIGH or 3hrs on LOW.
NOTE: You can add vanilla ice cream & crumbled ginger snap cookies to serve this desert but the optional items are NOT included in the provided nutritional information.

    This is amazing. It is the second time I have made it. I did not peel the apples either time and I am just realizing I forgot the butter this time. I added oatmeal this second time. Both times this is AMAZING! - 12/5/14
