770g lean steak mince6 rashers smoked back bacon, trimmed and chopped small1 medium onion chopped very small1 large carrot chopped very small2 sticks celery chopped very smallapprox 12 closed cup mushrooms sliced2 cloves garlic chopped very smallapprox 24 black olives sliced1 small glass red wine2 beef oxo cubes3 tablespoons tomato puree1 tsp bolognaise herbs
brown mince, onion & garlic in a large pan
add carrot, celery & bacon - cook for 2 minutes
mix oxo cubes, herbs, wine & puree with 1 pint boiling water
add to meat mix and bring to the boil
cook for half an hour
add mushrooms & olives
cook for half an hour
serve
