Apple-Raisin Sauce

Ingredients
2 apples peeled, cored, and thinly sliced1/2 c. apple juice1/4 c. water1/3 c. raisins 2 T. sugar1/4 t. ground cinnamon 2 T. cornstarch2 T. cold water1 t. butter
Directions
2 apples peeled, cored, and thinly sliced; 1/2 c. apple juice, 1/4 c. water, 1/3 c. raisins, 2 T. sugar, 1/4 t. ground cinnamon. Simmer covered till apples are just tender. Stir together 2 T. cornstarch and 2 T. cold water. add to apple mixture. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. stir in 1 t. butter. Keep warm. Serve with puffed oven pancake. 6 servings (from Better Homes and Gardens)
