Ingredients
Directions
Ingredients •1. cup - Canned Non Fat Evaporated Milk •1. cup - Half and Half Fat Free •5 large egg yolks •6.Ttbsp - Splenda or I prefer Whey Low sugar•1 tbsp - Vanilla Extract
Whip egg yolks until thickened and light yellow color. Add vanilla and sugar.
Bring milk and half and half to almost a boil.
Pour heated milk mixture slowly into egg yolk mixture while mixer is on low speed.
Pour into ramekins. Place Ramekins in a roasting pan filled with enough hot water to come to halfway on the ramekins. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
When cool, sprinkle with one packet of whey low sugar and use torch to carmelize the sugar on top.
This will not work with Equal or Splenda, it must be whey low which can be purchased at wheylow.com, This is the best sugar substitute ever and great for baking, it is granular like sugar and will carmelize.
Depending on size of ramekins, this will make 4 servings
