Crock Pot Curry Ground Turkey With Brown Rice

Ingredients
1 lb Ground Turkey1/2 Cup Chicken Broth (I use low fat/low sodium)1 Med Onion4 cloves Garlic6 mushrooms sliced1 Tbsp Curry1 tsp Cumin1 cup (8oz) light/low fat Sour Cream
Directions
Cook ground turkey then drain. Add the following to crockpot: cooked ground turkey, chicken broth, thinly sliced onion, minced garlic, sliced mushrooms, curry and cumin. cook on low for 3 hours. Then add sour cream and cook 30 min more. Serve over brown Rice. (Or can serve over whole wheat pasta if you prefer)

Original recipe called for 1 Tbsp sugar and 1/2 cup raisins which I didn't add or calculate in nutrition information.

    very ez but u need some dried fruit to balance curry i added a few raisins & a little splenda + a pinch of seasoned salt. "4" servings r very small (not including rice) so add a big salad. Delicious and quick. - 2/15/15
