Homemade Clam Chowder

Ingredients
22 oz can clams w/ juice3 small potatos3 tbsp butter3 slices uncured bacon, fried1 cup water1 cup chicken broth3 cups half and half
Directions
crisp the bacon, remove grease and bacon from soup pot. peel and dice potatoes. use juice from can of clams, boil potatos for about 10 minutes, till cooked. add onion, garlic powder, and bacon with 3 tbsp potato starch mixed in. bring to boil on med to med high heat. add 1/2 and 1/2, stir until warmed through add clams. Do not boil with clams in, it will make them tough. Simply warm through and serve.
