Vegetable Oil Spray8-ounce can no-salt-added tomato sauce (1 cup).25 tsp sugar1 pound ground beef1 tsp salt-free all-purpose seasoning.5 to .75 tsp dried basil, dried oregano, or combination.5 tsp ground cumin.25 tsp salt.125 tsp pepper1 tsp bottled minced galric or 2 medium cloves garlic, minced.5 to .75 frozen chopped onion or 1 medium to large onion, chopped.1 cup frozen no-salt-added corn, carrots, or green beans; frozen peas; or combination2 cups frozen non-fat hash shredded hash brown potatoes.25 water** Your meals may have fewer calories if you chose low cal, low sodium substitues. Serves 4: 1.25 cups per serving
Preheat oven to 450 F. Spray a shallow 1.5 quart baking dish with vegetable spray.
In a small bowl, stir together tomato sauce and sugar, set aside.
Using your hands, break apart beef into .5 to 1 inch pieces (irregular pieces are okay); layer in baking dish, leaving slight space between pieces.
Sprinkle beef with all purpose seasoning, basil, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Top with garlic, onions, tomato sauce mixture, frozen vegetables, and potatoes. Pour water over all. Lightly spray potatoes with vegetable oil spray.
Bake, covered, for 25 minutes, or untilpieces of beef are no longer pink in centerand potatoes are tender.

Very good. My husband is a picky eater and he gobbled this up even though it was a diet recipe. He is not big on diet foods but he is learning that they are not bad, He ate this recipe up. he did not even leave enough for both of use to get a secound meal out of it. Their is only 2 of us - 11/14/08
