Savory Butternut Squash Soup

Ingredients
3 1/2 cups butternut squash (mashed/pureed)3 cups Water2 tsp Better than Bouillon - organic vegetable1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp cumin1/2 tsp garlic powder
Directions
Cook your butternut squash and mash or puree. *Tip* We slice our quashes in half the long way. Then we bake it cut side down on a lightly oiled baking sheet - 350° for 1 hour. Once it's done, you can easily slide the peelings off.

Add everything to a 2 qt saucepan and heat. You can eat it when you like but it seems to taste better the longer it sits. Enjoy!

    Easy and so flavorful! I leave out the cinnamon and use extra onion. This is a family favorite now! We also add a splash of heavy cream. - 2/17/14
