These tasted great! My only issue was I wish the directions and just what constituted a serving size were clearer. I had a devil of a time trying to estimate 1/16th. Otherwise, Fabulous! - 9/7/10

Same recipe my mom makes. Love them with salsa, the hotter the better. Substitute the salt and pepper and add cajun seasoning to taste. Gonna try baking them instead of pan fry. - 11/30/11

I used 4 med unpeeled red potatoes, egg beaters and Pam cooking spray. They were great!

I used to make these in the restaurant. We served them with sour cream. We now can serve them with fat free or low fat sour cream. So much better than the hash browns that you buy. - 3/17/14

These were tasty but what made them Irish? I mix curly Kale into then.....then they are Irish - 2/28/16

Rinse and squeeze out the potatoes to remove starch. Especially necessary for kidney health diets. - 5/21/15

I substituted the flour with almond flour - 3/5/15

I can't wait to try these out. Although I'd serve them with some homemade chunky cinnamon applesauce. (easy to make peel apple add a little maple syrup blend in f.p. add cinnamon to taste) - 3/25/14

these pancakes were great! I made them just the right size too for the 16 quantity. I agree with mom2alex2004, they do need a bit more time than regular pancakes to cook through. Thanks for sharing!!! - 10/9/08

No leftovers from this meal!!!! Absolutely wonderful tasting recipe. Some liked it with applesauce, some liked it with sour cream; my favorite was with hot sauce!!! YUMMY!!!! Thank you. - 9/26/08

This is one of my favorite breakfast foods! I pat the grated potatoes dry before I mix and fry. I also add a tiny bit of garlic and some fresh thyme. - 12/24/18

@SINGFREELY: have you tried yoghurt (plain, and strained, to make it thicker)? I make my own yoghurt (have an EasyYo, got some yoghurt to start me from my grandma, and I use regular milk) and I was just reading the recipe and thinking how good these would taste with some yoghurt :) - 3/1/14

I added crumbled bacon (to get my 3 y/o to eat meat!). The pancakes were thicker than I expected, but I let them cook a little longer & they were really good. - 4/28/08

This recipe makes no sense is it 3 separate cups of 1/4 to 1/2 or is it suppose to be 1/2-3/4 of a cup of grated potatoes and are the potatoes to be peeled or par cooked its not giving proper instructions - 3/16/21
