Southern Country Cornbread

Ingredients
1 egg beaten1 1/3 cups milk1/4 cup Crisco oil2 cups Martha White Self-Rising Buttermilk Corn Meal Mix
Directions
1. Heat oven to 450degrees. Grease 8- or 9-inch overnproof or square pan: place in oven to heat.

2. In large bowl, combine all ingredients: mix well. Pour batter into o greased pan.

3. Bake at 450 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown

Makes 6 to 8 servings

Tip: recipe will make 12 muffins or 16 cornsticks. grease muffin cups or cornstick pan: place in oven to heat . fill cups 2/3 full . Bake at 450 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
