Cranberry-apple relish (Family Circle)

12 oz cranberries1 granny smith apple (cored, peeled, chopped)1 cup water3/4 cup sugar3 Tbsp currants1/8 tsp ground cloves
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 10 minutes. Cool before serving.
