Diet Coke Pork Chops

Ingredients
Directions
9 oz diet coke or diet orange soda4 3 oz pork chops, fat trimmed3/4 cup ketchup
Wash and season pork chops with a little salt and pepper.
Use a small amount of cooking spray in a non stick skillet.
Arrange pork chops in skillet, add soda, and ketchup. Stir.
Heat to boiling, reduce heat, let simmer covered about 45 minutes.
Uncover and let simmer about 15 additional minutes for sauce to thicken.
When used with the diet coke it tastes like bbq. With diet orange soda, it tastes like sweet and sour pork.
Serve with your favorite veggies.

I gave it 4 stars because while I will definitely make this again I don't think i'll have cravings for it. I used diet Mtn Dew then added some crushed pineapple, served on a bed of brown rice with broccoli. Easily doubles and adjusts, even in a crockpot - 4hrs high or 6-8 on low. Tangy and tasty! - 1/30/11
