Wacky Cake

Ingredients
3 c white flour2 c sugar6 tbsp cocoa powder2 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt3/4 c vegetable oil2 tbsp vinegar2 tsp vanilla2 c water
Directions
Sift dry ingredients together directly into a 13x9 pan (no need to grease pan first).

Make 3 "wells" in the dry ingredients in the pan and put oil in one, vinegar in another, and vanilla in the 3rd. Pour the water over the whole thing and mix well with fork, making sure to get into the corners and edges of the pan so you don't have spots with dry mix after it is cooked.

Bake at 350 for 45 min or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Can be frosted or served just as is with ice cream or whipped cream.

If you are on a reduced sugar diet, simply cut the amount of sugar in half. Don't try sugar substitutes because they don't allow the cake to rise correctly.
