Arabic Palestinian Falafel

Ingredients
2 cups dry chick peas1 cup dry fava beans3 medium onions1 parsley3 tsp cumin powder1 tsp curry powder3 tsp coriander1 tsp salt1 tsp black pepper3 tsp garlic powder (or fresh)0.5 cup Canola Oil
Directions
Soak chick peas and fava beans separately for 1 day. Then grind separately. Grind parsley, onion, and spices. Mix all together excluding the oil. (MORE INSTRUCTIONS TO COME)

There is more oil that is used but I didn't want included with the calorie count.

Makes about 30 2" patties.

    calories are not for one serving, unless you are really hungry (or over-eating)- this is about 1 pound of dried beans we are talking about! Can anyone to eat all of that in one go? - 8/1/09

    I'm sorry. When I made this, I froze most of it. I wasn't sure how many I could make. Once I figure it out, I'll change the numbers.
