Ingredients
1/2 cup of butter or margarine3/4 cup of white flour3/4 cup of whole wheat flour1 cup of sugar1 egg1/2 tsp. of vanilla1/4 tsp. of baking soda1/4 tsp. of cream of tarter2tbsp. sugar1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions
In a mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixture on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.

Add about half of the flour, sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda. and cream of tarter. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

Shape dough into 1" balls. Combine the 2bsp. of sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. bale 375 oven for 10-11 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool cookies on wire rack.
