Americanized Goulash

Ingredients
10 oz. elbow macaroni1.5 lb. ground beef1 tsp. black pepper1 tsp. garlic powder2 bay leaves1 large onion, chopped2 tsp. salt1 1/2 tsp. paprika3 cans diced tomatoes, no salt added, drained
Directions
Cook macaroni as package directs. Drain and set aside. In large skillet, combine onion, ground beef, black pepper, salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Saute until beef is browned. Drain off fat. Add tomatoes and bay leaf. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Remove bay leaves and add macaroni. Simmer till macaroni is heated through. Makes 9 servings.
