Karl's Black Bean & Rice Soup

Ingredients
Black beans, 3 cup*White Rice, medium grain, 1 cupOnions, raw, 1/2 cup, choppedSalsa, 1/3 cupTurkey breast meat, 3 slices, chopped
Directions
~1 cup of cooked rice
a can of black beans (slightly drained)
1-2 cloves of garlic
~1/3 cup of chopped onion
~1/3 cup of salsa
season with salt and pepper to taste.
In a small to medium saucepan, add ingredients with about ~3-4 cups of water
Also a bit of chopped turkey

Simply let simmer on medium heat for about a 15 minutes to a half hour. The longer, the better the flavor, and the more the beans will cook, and the fibers will break down.

Makes 3-4 servings
