Sage Cornbread

Ingredients
1 1/4 cp flour3/4 cup yellow cornmeal2 tbs sugar1 tbs baking powder3/4 tsp salt1/2 tsp dried sage1 egg1 cup milk1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions
preheat oven to 400
Grease cast iron skillet or 9inch square baking pan

stir together dry ingedients until well blended
whisk wet ingredients together until blended.
pour liquids into dry and mix until blended.
spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 18-20 minutes, until top is pale golden brown and knife inserted comes out clean.
cut into wedges to serve
