Sloppy Joes

1 lbs ground round 1/2 cup catsup 1/8 teaspoon salt 1.33 tablespoons sugar 1.33 tablespoons mustard 1.33 tablespoons vinegar 1.33 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 small onion
1Cook meat slowly in skillet with salt and onion.
2Meanwhile, make sauce by mixing together all other ingredients and cooking slowly over low heat for 15 minutes.
3Drain (not much to drain if you use ground round) and add meat.
4Let simmer for at least an hour, stirring from time to time, to let meat absorb the sauce.
5Serve on toasted hamburger buns.

This is how I make my sloppy Joes to and I use Brown sugar also not regular sugar. I do add diced green peppers when I have them in the house. Latelty Ihave been throwing in a special touch that everyone is raving about. I add about 1tps or just a little more of Sundried Tomatoes in Olive oil. - 3/1/13
