Perfected Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits

Ingredients
2C Flour1C Buttermilk1/2 Baking Soda5tsp Baking Powder4tsp ShorteningEgg white wash for tops
Directions
Preheat to 450
-mix all dry ingredients
-cut in shortening
-slowly add buttermilk and mix between pours
-dump mixture on flowered surface and fold in to incorporate all crumbs from mixing until a doughy mixture.
-spread until about 1/2" - 3/4" thick and cut w/ biscuit cutter of desired size (med) cutter makes 9 biscuits
- brush w/ egg white wash
-Bake at 450 for 10-12 min until golden on top
