curried lentils

Ingredients
4 small golden potatoesone 540 ml can of lentils1 cup of tomato sauce2 tbsp curry powderhalf a medium onion chopped1/2 inch of ginger root peeled and chopped3 cloves garlic peeled and chopped1 carrot peeled and chopped
Directions
place onions, garlic, ginger, carrots and potatos in a shallow pan, and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Add curry and continue to boil until almost all water has disappeared. then add tomato sauce.
add lentils and let simmer on low heat

serve with rice if desired.
