Baked Falafel Burgers

I cup dried chickpeas, rinsed thoroughlyI onion, roughly chopped4 garlic cloves1/2 cup roughly chopped fresh parsleyzest of 1 lemonjuice of .5 lemon.5 tsp ground cumin1 tsp baking powder.75 tsp salt.5 tsp fresh ground black pepper1 tsp coriander.25 tsp cayenne pepper.5 tsp tumeric4-6 Tbsp flour
Makes 6 4inch burgers
Cover the chickpeas by 4-5 inches of water in a bowl and let sit overnight. Drain thoroughly.
Combine all the ingredients except the flour in a food processor until coarsely combined. If mixture struggles to come together, you can add a little water or a little more lemon juice. Add flour as needed to bind mixture ( it should still be rather wet.)
Refrigerate the mixture for at least two hours. Then take out and shape into six patties. Place the patties on a generously oiled baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, turning the patties after 15 minutes. They should look golden brown and firm when done.
