Seafood Sauce

Ingredients
In a large saute pan, melt butter and olive oil. Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms until soft. Stir in flour and coat all the vegetables well. Cook enough to begin a little browning. Stir in the 1/2 and 1/2. Gradually pour in the milk mixing constantly to make a roue. Mix in the can of mushroom soup, and stir in the vegetables, to heat through-About 10 minutes. Last hit it with the pepper, lemon juice and parley. Serve over whole wheat pasta.
Directions
Makes 4-6 servings depending on your side dish options.
If you want to reduce the fat you can easily switch to only skim milk and leave out the half and half. I wanted to add this to my meal planner though so I had to be honest!
