8 pears, 2 or 3 Tablespoons of water, and a half a vanilla bean.
Directions
peel, core, cut up pears. add a little water and the vanilla bean. cook over low heat til soft. makes 3 0.70 cup servings (or 4 1/2 cup servings, but the calories are for 3 servings.)
