Navy Bean Soup - - adapted from Weight Watchers recipe

Ingredients
2 cups or 1 lb. of navy beans (if dry, cook 7 rinse; canned, rinse and drain)4 cups chicken brothItalian seasoning to taste1 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
1. If using dried beans, soak overnight or do quick soak; then, cook beans to desired tenderness.
2. Drain beans. Return to pan; add chicken broth and seasonings. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 10 minutes.

Yields 8 1-1 1/2 cup servings
