Candi's Eggfree Corn Bread

Ingredients
1 cup All Purpose Unbleached White Flour1/2 cup Yellow Corn Meal1 TBS Baking Powder1/2 tsp. Baking Soda1/2 tsp. Salt1/2 cup Granulated Sugar1 cup 2% Milk (or Buttermilk)2 TBS Unsweetened Applesauce1 TBS Canola or Vegetable Oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, or 375 degrees for dark or coated pan. Spray 8 x 8 baking pan with Pam, set aside.
Combine all dry ingredients, make a well in center of dry mixture and add combined wet ingredients. Mix just until moistened. Let mixture REST in bowl 5 minutes. Pour into baking pan. Bake 20-25 min. until golden brown and inserted tooth pic comes out clean.
Cool slightly, divide into 9 equal pieces.
