Banana Apricot Chip Muffins

1.25 cups whole wheat flour1/2 cup old-fashioned oats1 t baking powder1/2 t baking soda1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped1 1/2 t ground cinnamon1/2 t allspice1/2 t nutmeg3/4 cup 1% milk1/3 cup reduced calorie maple syrup1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened2 eggs2 medium bananas, mashed6 T mini chocolate chips (opt)
Pre-heat over to 325 degrees.
Lightly coat muffin pans with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and spices. Add apricots and chocolate chips.
In another bowl combine milk, syrup, applesauce, eggs and bananas. Pour into dry ingredients and mix till moist.
Pour into muffin tins and bake for about 20 minutes or until done in centers.
Makes about 18 muffins.
