Meatloaf with mushrooms and onions

2 teaspoons olive oil1 large onion, chopped2 garlic cloves, minced1/2 pound mushrroms, destemed and sliced1 1/2 pound lean ground beef, 7% or less1 cup tomato sauce1/2 cup plain dried bread crumbs2 large egg whites, lightly beaten2 teaspoons Worchester sauce1 teaspoon dried basil1 teaspoon dried oregano1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray large rimmed sheet with non stick spray
2) Meanwhile, heat 1 teaspoon oil in medium nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and cook.stirring occasionaly until onion is tender and golden, about 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly until fragrant, 30 seconds. Transfer to large bowl. Add remaining 1 teaspoon oil to skillet. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring occasonaly until browned, 6-7 minutes. Add to bowl with onion, let cool 5 minutes.
3)Add beef, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, bread crumbs, egg whites, Worcestershire, basil, oregano, and pepper to bowl and stire just until blended.
4) Transer mixture to baking sheet and form into 4x9 loaf. Spread remaining 1/2 cup tomato sauce over topj. Bake until instant-read thermometer inserted into center of loaf registers 160 degeress, about 1 hour. Let stand about 5 minutes before slicing. Cut into 12 slices.
