Ingredients
1 can pinto beans1 can black beans1 can red kidney beans2 cans fire roasted tomatoes (with green chiles)1/2 cup textured vegetable protein (optional)chile powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, other spices to taste.
Directions
Combine beans and tomatoes in a large pot. Heat over medium heat until bubbling, then lower to a simmer. After 30 minutes, add TVP, stirring to incorporate. When TVP has rehydrated, add spices of your choice to taste. I always use garlic, chile powder, oregano and pepper.
